The Kissing Dictionary, a living archive of human emotion told through the language of a kiss. Each “definition” captures a different moment, love, hesitation, grief, curiosity; mapping the subtle decisions we make in seconds but carry for a lifetime. It’s about intimacy as communication, and how something so simple can hold so much unspoken meaning.

But the kiss is also a metaphor for life’s split-second decisions. In real time, we stand at the front of our lives with countless paths ahead of us. Whatever we feel most strongly in that moment is the path we take. It’s easy to judge decisions with hindsight, but in those fleeting seconds, feeling leads the way.
